On the Integral Modelling of Control and Production Management Systems

Because of the growing complexity of manufacturing systems, the design of a suitable control and production management is a diicult task. To lend the designers a helping hand, various reference models have been developed. They usually are described in an informal way. This paper presents a formal speciication of a control architecture for job-shops based on their parallel character .
